The first single "1983 (Pelle & Sebastian)" was a seductive breeze of a melancholic Swedish summer, borrowed percussion from Rio de Janerio and late nights with Love's "Forever changes" in the headphones, and the rest of the album follows the same lovely path. Pelle has managed to write his finest melodies to this date and his lyrics are so full of exact everyday observations and wry humor it’s close to deadpan.
